GenAI Statement

  1. Permissible Use
    Authors may use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to support language editing, formatting, and organization of ideas. However, the intellectual content, analysis, and conclusions must remain the sole responsibility of the authors.
  1. Mandatory Disclosure
    Authors must clearly disclose any use of GenAI tools in the preparation of their manuscript. This disclosure should appear in the Acknowledgements or Methods section and include the name of the tool and its purpose.

Example: Portions of this manuscript were edited for language clarity using a generative AI tool. All scientific content and interpretations are those of the authors.

  1. Authorship and Accountability
    GenAI tools must not be listed as authors. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted work, including content assisted by AI.
  1. Prohibited Uses
    The following are not permitted:
    - Fabrication of data, results, or references using AI
    - Undisclosed AI-generated content
    - Any use of AI that constitutes plagiarism or academic misconduct
  1. Editorial and Peer Review Process
    Editors and reviewers must not upload manuscripts or confidential materials into GenAI tools, as this may compromise confidentiality and intellectual property.
  1. Compliance and Enforcement
    Failure to comply with this policy may result in manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and notification to relevant institutions.
